Our target audience is going to be teenagers and pop rock fans aged between 14-19. Most of them will like unknown bands music and will still be in education. There will be a mix between males and females who like our music but it will mostly be females. They love going to gigs like 'give it a name' where a lot of unknown bands play. They will like films such as Twilight and Harry Potter, they will also like TV programme's like The Vampire diaries and the Inbetweeners. Other kind of music that they will listen to will be like 'Good Charlotte' and 'All Time Low'. The uses and gratifications theory comes into action as it says how audiences need things to interact with the media, one of these things that they will be able to see in our music video will be how we can educate the viewers on how bad some relationships. Another one of these factors in the theory that will see in our music video is entertainment as most music videos are made for the viewers entertainment this will be seen in ours as well. Another factor will be how the viewers will be able to escape as they will be able to see how bad relationships are and maybe they have it easier then some people. The last factor that will be able to be seen in our music video is identification as some viewers will be able to identify to what is happening in this video as see that they are not the only people who argue in their relationship.
